H2O Canoe Company's Prospector 15-4 is simply a scaled-down version of the Prospector 16-4. A semi-round hull, moderate rocker, and a traditional symmetrical shape combine to create a nimble, responsive craft for most water conditions.
The 15-4’s shorter length purposely sacrifices a slight degree of initial stability to heighten an all-round maneuverability to controlled paddler leans and turns. Sharp entry lines flare out quickly to increase buoyancy, and when combined with moderate rocker to better float over large waves, rather than go through them. Tumblehome sides improve secondary stability and enhance both solo and tandem paddling.
